The President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, will inaugurate the 80th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) on September 4.
The TIF, which will run from September 5 until September 13, includes commercial exhibitions from a number of different themes and sectors, including innovation, technology, automobiles, energy and sports, among others.
“The presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic demonstrates the importance and the weight of the oldest and biggest exhibition in the country, TIF, which is still an attraction for hundreds of thousands of visitors and exhibitors from across the domestic economy and production,” the fair’s announcement read.
The TIF noted that among the exhibition’s goals is to expose the efforts to reconstruct the Greek economy. It is among the biggest festivals in Greece with last year’s exhibition attracting around 255,000 visitors.
