Greece's GDP Up by 1.6% in Q2

Euro_coins_economy_eurozone_money_banknotesThe Greek economy grew by 0.9% in the second quarter of 2015 compared with the first quarter and by 1.6% compared with the second quarter last year, Eurostat said on Tuesday.
In a report released here, the EU executive’s statistics agency said that the GDP in Eurozone and the EU-28 grew by 0.4% in the second quarter -seasonally adjusted, compared with the first quarter, while compared with the same period last year, the GDP grew by 1.5% in the Eurozone and by 1.9% in the EU.
Eurostat said that all member-states recorded positive growth rates in the second quarter, with the exception of France where the GDP remained flat. Latvia recorded the highest growth rate (1.2%) on a quarterly basis, while Holland, Austria and Romania recorded the lowest growth rates (0.1% each).
