Learn everything about the baggage policy of the airline companies with the most reservations in Greece in 2015, according to travel agency Travelplanet24.
Aegean Airlines
Aegean Airlines has three fare categories, GoLight, Flex and Business, and its policy is flexible according to each category. The most discounted economy fare class (GoLight) includes a free hand baggage allowance of 8 kilos for both domestic and international flights and a check-in of 23 kilos luggage, while the passenger has to pay an extra 18€ for domestic destinations and 30€ for international flights. Passengers who have bought the Flex ticket may carry baggage on domestic and international flights one piece of hand baggage of 8 kilos and a check-in bag of 23 kilos. In business class, the free baggage allowance includes two hand luggage of 8 kilos each and two check-in bags of 32 kilos each for all destinations.
Ryanair
Each passenger is allowed to carry one small bag up to 35 x 20 x 20 cm and one cabin bag weighing up to 10 kg with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Furthermore, each traveler may check in up to two checked bags upon payment of the applicable checked baggage fees by electing to purchase a checked baggage allowance of either 15 kilos or 20 kilos when make their initial booking.
Blue Air
Blue Air offers each passenger a free carry-on baggage which may not exceed 10 kilos for all destinations and fares, while the maximum allowed weight for the checked-in baggage is of 32 kilos per piece. There is an extra charge of 18€ to 25€ depending on the season and the destination.
Ellinair
Ellinair is the airline company that offers its travelers the opportunity to carry with them in all its flights, a free cabin baggage of 5 to 8 kilos (depending on the aircraft) and a large piece of luggage of 20 kilos.
Air Serbia
Air Serbia offers one free cabin bag and one free check-in bag in all types of flights. Hand baggage allowance ranges from 8 to 12 kilos, while the check-in baggage allowance ranges from 23 to 40 kilos.
