3rd Little Paris of Athens Festival to Take Place in the Greek Capital

Music, photographic exhibitions, street painting, café theater, lectures, social rendezvous and educational programs are scheduled to take place during the 3rd Little Paris of Athens multi-festival, co-organized by the Athens Art Network and the City of Athens Cultural, Sport & Youth Organization (OPANDA).
The festival will be held between October 8 and 18 in central Athens, in various venues located on streets with French names. These venues are known to have been part of the Athenian urban culture movement for several years, promoting Greek traditions, as well as the culture of migrants, travelers and visitors.
The initiative was began in order to promote culture and art in one of Athens’ most underprivileged areas. Since then it has grown rapidly into a renowned international multi-festival.
During the festival’s 10-day run, more than 500 artists, creators and intellectuals from Greece and abroad will present their works in more than 40 selected locations (streets, squares, theaters, conservatories, schools, galleries, cafes, parks and other alternative spaces).
This year’s festival, entitled “Bistrot et Café Culture,” focuses on artistic creativity and expression, as well as the philosophical topics of discussion that are frequently started in cafes and bistros across the world.
