Greece Has the Largest Number of Unemployed Graduates

Youth-unemployment1Greece has the highest unemployment rate among graduates of higher education institutions, according to a publication in Forbes magazine, which relied on official data released by the OECD.
Specifically, according to Forbes, the percentage of Greek unemployed university graduates has risen to 19.4% – the highest among all the OECD member-countries.
Greece is followed by Spain with 14.9%, Turkey with 7.7%, Italy with 7%, Ireland with 6.7% and France with 5.3%
In contrast, the unemployment rate among Norwegian graduates stood at 1.8% – the lowest among OECD member-countries. Germany also had one of the lowest rates at 2.4%, South Korea 2.9%, Japan 3.2%, the US 4.1% and Canada 4.8%.
