The most unexpected wedding of the year took place in the Kefalonia town hall between an 85-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man.
Specifically, according to kefaloniapress, the wedding took place a few days ago at the local town hall. Furthermore, it was reported that both the bride and the groom come from two of the most well-known families on the island.
Even though it wasn’t love at first sight, the unexpected love story had a happy ending. The bride who is in good health both physically and mentally confided to her friends, telling them that the young man had been courting her for the past six months. In the end she gave in and agreed to marry him.
The happy couple is currently on their honeymoon, while they plan on living in an apartment in Argostoli.
