The breach of contracts and failure to protect those who believed and invested in Greece is causing enormous damage to a country with deficient reliability, highlights the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises in its weekly bulletin about the Greek economy.
The sudden imposition of additional taxes on gambling games by OPAP is not only a breach of contract, but also will fail miserably to secure state revenue expectations as have failed other tax extremes over the recent years.
Above all beyond the inevitable damage the public sector will suffer, when the final court decisions of these lawsuits is out, the country has again lost the opportunity to reward those who invested against those who were stressing not to invest in Greece, and to refute those who questioned the reliability of the Greek economy, notes the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises.
