Former Greek Finance Minister to Be Investigated Over Missing Tax Reports

hardouvelisFormer Greek Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis will be investigated by a prosecutor for a failing to submit an asset declaration to the Greek parliament‘s committee for the 2011-2012 financial year.
Chardouvelis, who served as finance minister between June 2014 and January 2015 under former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, had previously served as advisor to Prime Minister Loukas Papadimos, who ruled from November 2011 to September 2012.
As such, he had to submit a separate asset declaration to the Parliament’s auditing committee.
Hardouvelis allegedly did not submit the asset declaration for 2011-2012.
