H1N1 Virus: 100 People Dead in Six Weeks

Six more people lost their lives due to the H1N1 virus, raising the death toll to 100 people in six weeks.
According to the Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention (KEELPNO) in the last 24 hours 102 new cases came up out of which 30 are children. Ninety-two people of the newest cases are on support, whereas ten were rushed to the ER. One hundred and ten patients are being treated in the High Intensity Unit, whereas about 320 patients have been treated in total.
According to specialists, the virus is still at a high peak with the virus AH1N1 targeting old people, children and teenagers.
The virus is expected to gradually taper down as of next month.
