Images of the landlocked city of Famagusta in Cyprus that were shot by a drone and are circulating the Internet, are shocking to viewers as they show a complete catastrophe.
The footage of the video confirms the name “ghost-town” that has been given to the area. Until mid-August of 1974, the area was full of life and it constituted one of the most popular tourist destinations. For 42 years, the Turkish army has blocked the area and no-one is allowed to enter the territory.
