Visitors, Revenues in Museums and Archaeological Sites Up in Jan-Nov 2015

national archaeological museum_510Visitors to Greek museums in November 2015 increased by 4.9 percent, however, revenues from entrance tickets fell 11.9 pct compared to the same month in 2014, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Wednesday.
It also said that in the period January-November 2015, there were 6.1 pct more visitors in museums and revenues rose by 5.7 pct, compared to the same period in 2014.
In terms of archaeological sites, ELSTAT said, that the number of visitors fell by 0.4 pct in November 2015 while revenues dropped by 6.6 pct in comparison with November 2014.
In the period January-November 2015, the number of visitors in archaeological sites rose by 3.7 pct and revenues increased by 2.6 pct.
