Olympiakos scored after only 37 seconds as two goals by Hernani guided the champion to a 2-1 win at Asteras (video) in the Greek league on Sunday.
Hernani opened the scoring following an assist from Costas Fortounis and he made it 2-0 in the 49th minute, after being played in by Pajtim Kasami.
Elini Dimoutsos pulled one back for Asteras in the 90th.
Olympiakos, with a 20-point advantage and a game in hand over second-place AEK Athens,
