The complaints by refugees and migrants for expired food are continuing, as today a new incident of sandwiches with vegetables that had gone bad was made known. The refugees complained about the incident outside the tents of the MSF.
The issue is under investigation by the NGOs who have taken responsibility for the food of the refugees in Idomeni camp, since another incident of expired food was spotted in yesterday’s board.
Quarrel Between Refugees and Driver
Tension broke out on the national high-way of Thessaloniki-Evzonon, right before the turn to Evzonon, when a driver who claims that he lives in the area, tried to pass with his car through the sides of the high-way which is occupied by refugees and migrants.
The refugees and migrants have occupied the traffic towards Thessaloniki, on the high-way of Thessaloniki-Evzonon, as a way to protest the closed borders. The police has turned the line into a two-way street. As soon as the refugees and migrants became aware of the incident, they moved towards the other line.
The driver got into a quarrel with the people who were gathered there and the police had to intervene in order to end it.
