Financial prosecutors have called a close adviser of former prime minister Antonis Samaras, the lawyer Stavros Papastavrou, for questioning next week on the ownership of an off shore company.
Suspected of having committed felony offenses following a batch of new evidence acquired by the prosecutors.
The name of Papastavrou appeared in documents leaked by several international newspapers in the so-called “Panama papers” affair.
