This Greek City Broke the Bachata Guinness Record (video)

1419467d-2c5a-4b63-9f74-5bfef76f28f8Residents and visitors in Kalamata, Peloponnese flocked in the city’s main square to watch 740 dancers break the Guinness world record in Bachata dancing.
The Bachata is a social Latin dance that was born in the rural areas of the Dominican Republic.
For a little over 15 minutes, 740 dancers gave their best and gave and put the Messinian capital in the international map of Bachata dancing.
The announcement that the dancers broke the Guinness world record was met with wild applause and cheers from dancers and spectators alike. The previous record was 704 dancers.
The event took place last month in Kalamata and it was inducted in the Guinness world records.
