An agreement between Greece and its lenders is possible, European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis said on Friday.
In statements to Politico, he said that the Greek issue will be discussed on the sidelines of the IMF’s Spring Meeting in Washington, noting that progress has been achieved in many sectors including mid-term fiscal targets, the taxation of individuals, tax collection and the pensions issue.
However, he admitted that there are differences between IMF and EU’s forecasts on the Greek estimated fiscal gap in 2018 which as he said, can be easily bridged.
