Greek Education Ministry Announces Replacement of Examination Committee Members

ExamsAs the university entrance exams in Greece known as the “Panellinies” or Panhellenic Exams are set to begin on May 16, the Greek Education Ministry has announced it is replacing the majority of the central examination committee members that were set to overlook this year’s exams.
There is much on the line for Greek students as they prepare themselves for the three-week-long university entrance exam, which is considered to be the defining event in determining a Greek student’s educational future. There will be over 103,000 candidates testing day after day for a 3-week period in hopes they might get a score high enough to earn one of the 69,985 places available at universities in Greece.
