University Student Elections Marred by Violence [Video]

A group of hooded rioters attacked various tertiary education institutions during the university elections on Wednesday. Attacks took place at the Athens Law School, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and the Education Institute.
Ten people entered the Athens Law School and tried to grab the ballots, however students immediately took action and thwarted the attack before it got out of hand. Two students were slightly injured, say reports. The election process continued as normal.
At Panteion University, a group of hooded rioters entered the campus grounds tearing posters. Further episodes were noted at the education institute, however, the efforts of hooded rioters trying to snatch the ballots were thwarted by students who responded to the stone-throwing with the use of chairs.
