A ship full of positive youthful energy, drive and ambition kicked off its Aegean voyage. The passengers, all young Europeans, arrived at the port of Piraeus on Tuesday to take part in the Cruise Inn business competition organized by Greek-based student entrepreneurship club ThinkBiz and supported by Celestyal Cruises.
The travelers — chosen by a selection committee — will share their business plans for startups focused on tourism and culture. During the cruise, specialists from the sectors of business and technology will guide the young groups to create business plans. The participants will share their ideas in an effort to gather support from their peers who will help them work on their products and services for four days.
At ports of call (Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes, Herakleion, Santorini), the contenders will be able to meet with locals and tourists and also network within the framework of local innovative environments. Through sharing they will be able to perfect their ideas and get important feedback.
Due to the large demand for the program, ThinkBiz decided to present the Cruise Inn voyage twice over the summer period, giving more participants the chance to present their idea to a judicial committee. The three winning finalists will receive cash prizes of 3,500 euros each offered by Celestyal Cruises, and other prizes focused on business services, job offers and sponsorships.
