The mayor of Rhodes Fotis Hatzidiakos honored a couple from Germany within the Repeaters reward programme.
Heide and Armin Buhrle from Stutgart have visited Rhodes 65 times. The couple became acquainted with a Greek couple from Rhodes who own a jewellery store in the Medieval town with whom they became close friends and exchange visits throughout the year.
Heide, a former school teacher and Armin a pensioner architect, have traveled all over the world but they consider Rhodes their home and they visit the Greek island two to three times a year to relax.
