A child molester, aged 46 years, known for traveling around the region of Attica with a bicycle was arrested after numerous complaints that he had harassed teenagers outside their schools. The man, an Albanian national, sexually approached at least 27 young teenage girls in different areas.
The man had a specific action plan. He would cycle to various schools in the morning and approached girls aged from 13 years to 15 years, telling them that he knew their families. He then would isolate and molest the girls. In one case, he ran off with a teenager’s cell phone.
The alleged pedophile was arrested following 27 complaints by young girls, however, they believe that more attacks could have taken place. A police action group was created to capture him. He was finally found bicycling around the region of Drapetsona, Piraeus, by the bicycle police squad. He refused to be flagged down and searched, however, police chased him and he has now been identified as the perpetrator of the attacks.
