A 50-year-old French tourist who was vacationing in Ierapetra, Crete, was found dead in a swimming pool.
The man was found floating in the pool of the hotel, where he was staying with his wife. There was an immediate alert in the hotel and an ambulance was notified and rushed to the hotel, which took him to the local health center. However, doctors were unable to revive the 50-year-old man.
It is unclear how the man died and an autopsy for the cause of death is expected to be performed soon.
