Labor Minister George Katrougalos has been in Heraklion since Saturday morning, in order attend several meetings and speak at an event organized by the Prefecture Committee of SYRIZA.
The Labor Minister visited Heraklion Mayor Vasilis Labrinos and discussed matters of labor and more specifically issues of hiring and problems that several categories of workers face in Heraklion.
After that, Katrougalos was transferred to the Chamber where he met with representatives of institutions. Outside of the Chamber, there was a demonstration organized by the Labor Center of Heraklion and other organizations. During the demonstration, there was great disapproval against the security fund bill and there was a request to withdraw it. The minister responded to those gathered that the bill has been voted on by the Parliament and it is a state law.
George Katrougalos will participate in an event by the Prefecture Committee of SYRIZA with the theme “Current Political Developments”.
