It all started with an initiative from the Greek School of Bucharest “Athena” to create a project that would let Greek children living outside of Greece express their love for their homeland.
The song, “Our Country Sweet Greece” also has a dance that accompanies the performance and was created by students of 11 Greek Schools that participated in the project.
Our “Our Country Sweet Greece” involves Greek Schools from 9 different countries and 5 continents, creating an energy of love and friendship for everyone who crosses its path.
The song has been received with enthusiasm, as the children, their teachers and school share their love for Greece abroad.
