A search and rescue exercise entitled Salamis 01/16 will take place on Thursday afternoon in the sea area south of Cyprus, and within its area of responsibility, according to an announcement of the Cyprus Defense Ministry.
The exercise will be held with the participation of aeronautical forces in Cyprus and Greece.
The coordination of the exercise will be in the hands of the Cyprus Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) in cooperation with the General Staff of the Greek Navy.
