Cyprus: Central Bank Reports Increase of Investment Fund Assets by 8%

stats economyThe total assets of investment funds increased by approximately 8% to €2.928 million in June 2016, compared with €2.712 million in March 2016, Central Bank statistics show.
The Central Bank said that this is “due to the increase of the number of reporting entities.”
Total deposits and loans of investment funds stood at the end of the second quarter at €266.5 million, compared with €194.4 million at the end of the first quarter. In June 2015 the loans and deposits of investment funds was €235.3 million.
In total, 82 investment funds submitted data to the Central Bank for the second quarter of the year as opposed to 76 at the end of March 2016.
