Deputy Sports Minister Stavros Kontonis pledged that Super League games will begin on September 10. He denied rumors that said he was willing to accept the beginning of domestic competitions after the FIFA-UEFA visit in Athens and their meeting on Monday.
He clearly accused the current administration of the Hellenic Football Federation for the difficult situation, stating that the people accused of criminal activity continue insulting the Greek legal system, adding that the decision for a prohibition of football games cannot be taken back, however, another temporal postponement would be taken.
His meeting with representatives of Super League clubs ran for 2 hours, with representatives of all teams present.
