Daredevil slackliner Laetitia Gonnon, aged 24, from Poland attempted the terrifying walk along the 280-foot slackline hanging along two cliffs. She hung 300 feet up in the air above Leonidio, a picturesque town at the end of the Dafnon Gorge at the Peloponnese in Greece. Heart-stopping footage shows her losing her balance before reacting quickly and catching the line while her friend, hanging from the cliff, could not bear to watch.
She said: “It was scary and much harder than expected. When I moved the whole line moved with me.”
A team of five helped her set up the slackline. She managed to complete the second walk in the same location. She says she felt great sense of satisfaction following the challenge, despite it being a struggle.
