Dimitrios Senikidis has won silver in the Men’s Shot Put – F20 on the third day of the Paralympics 2016.
On Senikidis’ third throw the ball traveled 16.17 meters, granting him the silver medal.
Greece’s other athlete in the Men’s Shot Put – F20, Efstratios Nikolaidis, came in fourth place, with his best shot recorded at 15.69 meters, a personal best for Nikolaidis.
Winner of the event, Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli from Malaysia, set a new world record with a score of 16.84 meters, while Todd Hodgetts from Australia took bronze with a score of 15.82.
