A new opinion poll, this time on behalf of government-friendly Avgi newspaper, shows that only 14% of participants believe that the SYRIZA-ANEL coalition is suitable to run the country.
The survey that was conducted by Public Issue on behalf of Avgi, shows that 36% of Greeks believe that New Democracy would be a better administration.
The survey indicates an intense dissatisfaction among Greek citizens, as 90% of participants are not happy with the government’s performance and policies, while 85% think that the country is moving in the wrong direction.
At the same time, 80% are dissatisfied with the opposition’s performance as well. Also, 45% of respondents believe that neither of the two great political powers are suitable to govern.
Furthermore, 51% of respondents believe that Greece needs snap elections, while 46% answered that elections are not needed at present.
Regarding the person most suitable for prime minister, New Democracy chief Kyriakos Mitsotakis is favored by 42% of participants while only 23% support Alexis Tsipras.
