Continuing aftershocks following the 5.5 richter quake that shook Ioannina late Saturday night are causing great concern for residents in the area.
The latest aftershock struck around 3 a.m. on Wednesday and registered at 4.4 on the richter scale.
There were no reports of damages or injury at this time.
Some 100 schools in Ioannina have remained closed since the initial quake as well as many businesses deciding to do the same until the aftershocks lessen and buildings can be inspected for structural damage.
