OECD Data Shows 3 Out of 4 Greek Young Adults Live at Home

GREECETENANTAccording to data released this month by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), some 76 percent of young adults in Greece aged between 15 and 24 live at home.
The data in the report called “Society at a Glance” showed data up until year-end 2014 that puts Greece in second place on the list of young adults living at home out of the 35 OECD member states.
The country has the highest youth unemployment rate in the euro zone, making it difficult for people to move out and live independently from their parents.
On the OECD list, Italy came in first place, while Greece, Slovakia, Portugal and Spain followed.
