10 Options for a Scary Greek Halloween

spooky
Greeks may not have grown up with the spirit of Halloween, but in recent years the idea has caught on. How could it not? The scary spirit of Halloween matches the spirit of gloom and doom in the country. So while Greeks may not be out there tricking or treating, they are definitely joining in the spirit of zombies, ghoulies and vampires. The growth of the occasion is further helped by the fact that October 28 is a national holiday for “Oxi” (No) day, when Greek dictator Ioannis Metaxas said “No” to the entry of Italian forces to Greece.
hallSo as Greeks celebrate “No,” they also say “Yes” to a few scary festivities on the side. Here’s a top 10 list for Halloween activities this long weekend.
