Neither the tax issue nor the social security issue can open again because they were part of the first program review,” Labor Minister Giorgos Katrougalos on Thursday said in an interview with Praktorio 104.9 FM.
“The fact that these two issues closed in a way that does not satisfy the IMF is a clear indication that they closed in the best possible way for the Greek people,” Katrougalos said and added: “The IMF’s positions are difficult to find grounds in the European social model. We are not willing to agree with any agreement that does not protect the rights of the employees and the pensioners.”
