Olympiakos ended up dropping back to second place in the pool after ending their match with a draw 1-1 at Astana in Kazakhstan.
The Reds are now with seven points from four games, putting them two points behind Cypriot APOEL who won over Young Boys 1-0 in Cyprys.
Panathinaikos also saw a horrible loss in their match against Standard Liege in Athens with a final score of 3-0.
This latest loss puts the Greens at the bottom of their group with just one point.
