On Wednesday, Reuters reported that Friday’s scheduled mini Eurogroup meeting set to take place in Berlin, Germany, has been canceled.
The meeting was set to bring together finance ministers of a group of core EU countries to discuss any possible concessions on behalf of Brussels towards Greece’s third bailout.
There was no reason given for the cancellation of the meeting as a German finance ministry spokeswoman simply stated that “This meeting is not taking place,” according to Reuters.
