Afghan Native Released From Prison in Greece Now Accused of Murdering Student in Germany

maria ladenburgerAn Afghan native is the main suspect for the crime of raping and murdering Maria Ladenburger, the daughter of a senior European Union official last October in Freiburg, Germany. Reports have revealed that the man once resided and was sentenced to prison in Greece.
After being released from Greek prison in October 2015 he fled from Greece for Germany.
The new charges against him in Germany are that he allegedly raped and murdered the 19-year-old female medical student who had just left a student party.
The Afghan native was previously convicted and sentenced in Greece for stealing a female student’s bad and then pushing her off a 8-meter cliff on the Greek island of Corfu, however, he served only a short sentence in Greece for his crimes, in part because of the fact that he was minor at the time and also due to a law aimed at decongesting Greek prisons calling for swift discharges.
