On Monday it was announced that the head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy to Greece, Andrei Malanin, did not show up for work and was later found dead in his apartment in Athens.
According to embassy sources, Mr. Malanin died of natural causes saying, “The embassy can confirm the death of the head of the consular department…The death was due to natural causes.”
