Snow and Rain Wreak Havoc in Northern Greece, Peloponnese

More bad weather has impacted the northern Peloponnese and western Macedonia regions of Greece.

In western Macedonia over 40 villages were faced with complete power outages Thursday following heavy overnight snowfall.

Many villages in Kozani and Voiou are experiencing problems on Thursday with their water supply as the power outages caused their pumping systems to work improperly.

Meanwhile, in the northern Peloponnese region heavy rain over the past day has caused a major rock fall resulting in sections of the Patra-Corinth highway being closed off.
