A bi-monthly report on Cyprus has been released by the US Department of State on behalf of the former U.S. President Barack Obama. It covers the period of August and September 2016.
The report refers to the efforts by the two leaders of Cyprus, Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci to reunify Cyprus as a bizonal, bicommunal federation under the auspices of the U.N. Secretary-General’s Good Offices Mission.
