Officer Honored for Act of Bravery After Saving Child in Burning Building

On Thursday, Vassilis Terzakis, an emergency dispatch police officer in Athens was honored with the a police medal for his act of bravery while on duty.
The honor was bestowed on him for his actions on February 19, 2015 when he rescued a young boy from a fire after the little boy had fainted from inhaling smoke. Office Terzakis pulled the boy out of a burning building in Patissia, Athens, saving his life.
