More Than 90,000 People Still Waiting for EFKA Pay Notice

There are still some 90,000 workers in wait for their pay notices for the new Single Social Security Contribution (EFKA).
The deadline for payments of January’s social security payments is the end of this week, which has already been extended. Now, as 90,000 people await their pay notices, it looks as though another extension might be underway.
60,000 salaried employees are still unsure of their contributions and 31,000 salaried engineers are unsure if they still have active invoice books, as they do not appear in the system, ekathimerini.com reported.
According to EFKA data, only 50-55 percent of contributions from self-employed, freelancers and farmers was collected in January and there are still many sectors that have been left in the dark as to what is owed.
