On Thursday in the center of Athens in Patissia, a businessman was robbed and kidnapped outside of his home by three men. When the victim entered his house the men threatened him with knives and attempted to rob him.
Upon seeing that he did not have anything to rob on his person, they then put him into a jeep and drove him to his place of business in a southern suburb of Athens, Alimos, were they robbed his company’s office safe of an undisclosed amount of money.
They then kidnapped two office employees along with the businessman in the jeep and drove them to a northern suburb of Athens, Nea Filadelfia, where they dropped them off.
Police say that they are looking for the three men who are the suspects. The jeep was later found, abandoned and burned, sources have reported.
