Even though negotiations between Greece, the country’s creditors and the European Union have been ongoing for months, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble showed optimism that a deal would come to fruition soon, while also adding that he was unsure whether this would be achieved at Friday’s meeting with eurozone finance ministers.
Differences between Greece, the IMF and EU, over Greece’s fiscal progress, labor and energy market reforms, are a new cause for worry as the issues may become a threat for a new crisis in Europe.
