A luxury shopping mall is to open on famous Psarrou beach on Mykonos, catering to the rich visitors of the cosmopolitan island.
The shopping center will be called Nammos Mall and is expected to change the character of the area. The mall, to be built according to the Mykonos architectural standards, takes its name from the world-famous restaurant, as the new venture belongs to the three owners of the place, Zannis Frantzeskos, Konstantis Kousathanas and Sami Ibrahim.
According to Mykonos TV, the area behind Psarrou, the most popular beach of the island, has turned into a construction site, with the three entrepreneurs wanting the project to finish as soon as possible.
Reportedly, the Nammos Mall will house luxury stores carrying major fashion brands, artwork galleries and jewelry stores, while it will have an underground parking garage for 300 cars.
