Cancer Patient to Greek PM: 'How Can I Live on a €652 Pension?' (video)

“How can I live on my 652 euro pension?” a cancer patient asked Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras who is on tour in Thessaloniki.
The prime minister was visiting a health center in the Evosmos neighborhood. The pensioner approached him and complained about his low pension. “How can I pay taxes and the ENFIA?” he asked.
“The pensions were cut during the New Democracy administration. From you I didn’t get anything, only 5 euros,” said the pensioner to Tsipras, meaning the 5-euro fee for visiting a public hospital that the current government abolished.
“You are the prime minister. I voted and I am complaining to you,” the pensioner added.
“This needs to be said,” Tsipras answered. “We found the country in a very bad state and they shake the finger at us.”
