Eurovision: Greece and Cyprus Advance to Finals (Video)

On Tuesday night Demy represented Greece at Eurovision 2017 and won over Europe with her performance of “This is Love.”
The performance was the first of the semifinals for the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest and all of Europe tuned in to watch! Greeks also watched with much anticipation as the singing contest was broadcasted live in Greece.
By the end of the evening, the Greek singer’s performance won her a slot in the final completion which is to take place on May 13 in Kiev.
Greece and Cyprus were among the 10 countries who passed on to the finals. Greece was the third country to be announced after the telephone poll, while Moldova and Azerbaijan preceded, followed by seven other countries: Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Australia, Cyprus and Belgium.
The next round of semi-finals will be on Thursday while the finals are set to take place in Saturday, at 10 p.m. (for both contests) and will be broadcast live around Europe.
