Second Victim of Blue Whale Internet Game in Greece has Parents Alarmed

A 14-year-old girl was the second recorded victim in Greece of the dangerous Blue Whale game played in the social media.
The new victim is a teenage girl who inflicted serious wounds on herself with her parents believing that she plays the Blue Whale game on the internet.
Specifically, the incident was discovered in a Thessaloniki junior high school with the English teacher speaking on local radio about it.
The professor claimed that another professor said that a 14-year-old student had deep cuts on her arms and legs, with the teenager later admitting that she participates in the Blue Whale game.
The teenage girl also claimed that she knows that 15 other friends and classmates of hers have participated in the suicide game in the last 20 days.
The mother of the student was immediately notified, while the Electronic Crime Prosecution is taking over the case.
The Blue Whale game is reported to be the cause of the self-inflicted wounds on the body of a 15-year-old girl from Katerini, in northern Greece.

The Blue Whale Game took its name from the beached whales, an act likened to suicide. The trend originated in Russian-speaking social media. It is based on the relationship between the challengers (also called players or participants) and the administrators. It involves a series of duties given by the administrators that players must complete, usually one per day, some of which involve self-mutilation. The last task to be completed is suicide.
Photos of self-cutting wounds are shared on social media alongside the game’s hashtags.
