Eight-Year-Old British Cypriot Girl Killed in Manchester Terrorist Attack


An eight-year-old girl was killed after the deadly terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester England on Monday night that left at least 22 dead and 59 injured.
The little girl, Saffie Rose Roussos, a British Cypriot, had gone to the concert with her mom and older sister. Reportedly, they have been transferred to the Manchester hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Photos of the little girl had flooded all over Facebook shortly after the attack, as she was among the missing; relatives and friends were anxiously trying to find her.

Chris Rousso, the uncle of 8-year-old Saffie informed the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus that his niece is dead, the head of the Cypriot Foreign Ministry’s Crisis Management Center reported.

Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in Chorlton, south Manchester, in connection with the suicide bombing attack.
