1. Hike the Corfu Trail

2. Visit the Monastery of Panagía Arkoudíla
There are great sights to see in Corfu that you can reach by vehicle or mountain bike too — such as the monastery of Panagía Arkoudíla which is just over 3 kilometers south of Kávos resort. Also, from here you will have amazing views over to Paxí island and access to a footpath which is part of the Corfu Trail and leads down to Arkoudíla beach which is complete with lounge chairs and a cantina.
3. Check Out the Andivouniótissa (Byzantine) Museum
Another great way to pass the time on Corfu is by learning of its rich history at one of its many museums. There are many top picks for museums on the island, and you must be sure to visit the Andivouniótissa (Byzantine) Museum which is located in the Mourágia district. You can visit this museum Tues–Sun 8.00am–3pm and entrance is €4. 4. Take a Stroll Around Kérkyra Old Town
Visiting Kérkyra old town is the perfect way to get to know the island and its many charms. Why not spend the afternoon strolling the streets of this Unesco landmark with its pastel-colored buildings complete with Venetian-style shutters?
 
5. Make a Stop at Paleá Períthia, the Venetian-era Village
Visit Paleá Períthia, the Venetian-era village hidden in the north slope of island summit Mt Pandokrátor to be transported back into time! The village was abandoned after the 1960’s and has undergone many restoration projects since then — including the restoration of the 14th-century church of Agios Iákovos O Pérsis which you see as you approach the village.
